Had dinner with girl friends. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and Jason was very accommodating. Will be back definitely!
Great customer service and the food was delicious
In New Orleans for the weekend ate lunch and it was wonderful. The service was excelent, friendly environment. Highly recomend this restaurant great local hometown soul food.Thank you Shanell and Antoinette.
Super delicious food for the soul. Felt like I was home. Thick, buttery cornbread. Flavorful black-eyed peas. Perfectly cooked sausage.
Great food, okay service. Had to ask for drink refills otherwise inwoukndt got any drinks. Food was great. Restroom was cleaned. Waitress was a little rude at first. Prices were affordable. It was a lot of food for the price.
The BEST SOUL FOOD I've ever eaten. Hands down! Can't wait to go back!
You would think a 4.2 star rated place would be a nice place to eat. There’s absolutely no seasoning/flavor on their food. I got greens with rice, fish, yams, corn bread and potato salad and the only thing that was eatable was the fish and potato salad. My boyfriend didn’t enjoy his Mac & cheese, yams, or corn bread and we payed at least $27 dollars and was very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone and I never leave bad reviews but damn can I actually get a good decent meal for a decent price it didn’t even come with a drink. 😑
Great food, wonderful prices.
I don't can care for their seasoning. Mediocre for soulfood.
Hands down the best soul food I have had in years!!! I read reviews on Google and YouTube about places while traveling before I sleep, eat drink, sleep .. I'm just that kind of guy. Two sisters was a clean establishment from what I saw in the eating area and was cozy, felt like I was at home! The waitress was wonderful and very attending drinks (sweet tea and water) stayed refilled. I was a little shaky due to a couple bad reviews but I'm not one to call people Liars but ummmm🤔🤔🤔 That was not and nowhere near the experience I had... thank you two sisters for having a wonderful establishment that I will return to from DC again and again and again to dine at!!!!!!!!!!!
Best Soul Food around.hands down
Delicious Southern Soul Food Wonderful Hospitality! If you come to New Orleans, make this a definite stop on your trip.
Visiting from out of town...The food was absolutely some of thee best food I've ever tasted before. The service was friendly and personable. I will definitely be back to visit.
I was pleasantly shocked! Just moved here and have been looking for a good place for homemade soul food. Ill definitely be back. All our food was hot. Loved the fried seafood platter with mac n cheese. Smothered Turkey wings gravy n rice. Large portions! Its basically a hole in the wall but clean! Its where I find some of the best food ever anyways. I CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN
If you are looking for some SOUL FOOD this place is delicious. It's like eating in your grandma's kitchen
Great place in New Orleans to get traditional soul food. Service is pretty quick and food is good. If you in the East you already know about this place, but if you are visiting from out of town make sure you cross the high rise and come try something off the ventured path for some classic soul food.
Friendly staff and great food.
Food was delicious! I'll definitely visit again!
Good, seasoned and fresh food delivered in a timely manner.
This is where the locals eat, good food at great prices.
Food was good and original. Enjoyed the waitresses. Pleasant experience. #SundayDinner
Nice atmosphere friendly people great service delicious food
Great food especially for the price! As soon as you're seated you get a salad and potato salad. Then you get some sweet cornbread. This is in addition to your meal. Staff was friendly and the place had a homey atmosphere.
Great people with great customer service. The food will definitely speak for itself.
The sweetest sistas I ever met! Fast and friendly service. Excellent hospitality and delicious food. Right when you enter you are greeted with a beautiful delicious salad and a HUGE piece of delicious cornbread. This place is historic. If you get a chance walk around and look at all the pictures and memorabilia.
Food is Good. Service is even better. Do recommend and will be back.
I’m in love with their sweet corn! It had the right amount of butter and sugar.
Great soul food, friendly staff.
No seasoning but good amount of food food for the price u pay
Food was not good at all. Not seasoned, salad was starting to turn brown, I was very disappointed I would recommend you got to The Louisiana Lurchase restaurant
From the time you hit the door you feel welcomed this was our first time in New Orleans and we wanted so good home cooking and this place fulfilled that request...the food was delicious and plenty of it ...when in New Orleans stop by you will not be disappointed
Excellent food, great prices and service.
came here after my swamp tour and I must say it is one of the best decisions I made while visiting New Orleans. The hospitality was amazing and the “FOOD” has me thinking my grandma was in that kitchen cooking good Lord. If you ever get a chance to visit New Orleans make sure you stop by to get a plate of some real southern food and some old fashion hospitality...
Best Soul Food In New Orleans. These Sistas R the best. Stop there Evey time I go to New Orleans. The best hands down
Food and service is always A++. We love this restaurant!
I had the cabbage and hen over rice, the gravy was weak and you can taste vinegar in the cabbage.
Friendly staff and lots of delicious food. Just wished the sides had arrived on a separate plate. It was a lot on one plate, in my opinion.
Food was tasty. Service sucked. Girl seemed to be flirting with my Godfather instead of focusing on our order and refills. It was pretty warm on a hot day after church. They ran out of the special of the day. There was someone selling fragrance oils at one of the tables inside ( probably because it was too hot outside to do so). Unfortunately, we were overcharged but didn't go back inside to get our refund bc they also seem to be under staffed this particular day! It was also busy and there was only 1 waitress. Food was authentic southern ( your grandma's style) cooking though. Of I was giving the food stars it would be a 4.5. Service and atmosphere was the reason I gave it 2 stars.
Food is great. Service is great. My first time there and it wont be my last
One of the best values I've found in New Orleans. For $10-12 you get a ridiculous amount of food. I've never finished a meal here and I always have leftovers to take home. The food is authentic soul food, well made, and the menu changes daily. Hands down the best sweet tea I've had in New Orleans. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the East.
Listennnnn!!! Why this food was so good! And the staff was super nice.
Always delicious!! Had to break my diet for that stewed chicken and ox tail!!
W0W the oxtails melted in my mouth. Visiting from Detroit and I couldn't believe that thanks to a local New Orleans relative I would have my best meal at Sistas. The waitess staff was friendly and social. I suggest anyone craving home cooking stop by.
Gumbo was great and the pork chop was so juicy
The food was definitely not to my liking. I've had better from them & this visit was a true disappointment. Then they are not as courteous as they should be serving the public.
Good FOOD. GOD IS SO GOOD.
Delicious . Only one word describes downhome new orleans cookin
Soul food is what I eat. It's always hard to decide which dish to select. There is always more than enough with whatever entre you choose. You be the judge.
This place is the BEST place to go to for Soul Food! The hospitality is great and the food is sooooooooo good! Prices are cheap for the amount of food they give you. They're bread pudding is really good. Their oxtail is amazing. All of it is just really good. I recommend to anyone who wants REAL soul food.
Omgosssh that was good. Thank you Shanelle for a warm welcome and experience. All meals start with a salad. I had a Fresh strawberry lemonade, Oxtails, rice and gravy, yams, corn bread, and macaroni. When you leave don’t forget to stop by the woman outside selling pralines, pies and candy apples! Delicious
